THIS GAME IS AWESOME! IT HAS NEVER BEFORE ADDED FEATURES IN THE TEKKEN GAMES LIKE WALLS, BETTER GRAPHICS, AND WATER EFFECT. THIS GAME ALSO INCLUDES NEW MODES WICH ARE STORY MODE, TRAINING, AND THE NEW "TEKKEN FORCE". THIS GAME IS TAKING A GOOD IMPRESSION OF "DOA" AND "VF4". IN THE BEGINING TEKKEN WAS MADE ON THE PS ONE IT DIDN'T HAVE VERRY GOOD GRAPHICS AND KNOW WALLS IT WAS JUST A OPEN AREA. NOW IT ALL CHANGED. TEKKEN4 IS THE BEST GAME TO BE MADE ON THE PS2

This is an awsome game. Many people say that it is not as good as the rest of them but the only thing that I can find wrong with it is that there should be a few more characters that they had in the previous tournaments. They still have some of your favorites though like Yoshimitsu, Kazuya, Heihachi (of course), Bryan, Nina, and of course, my personal favorite, Jin Kazama. The gameplay is incredible and the stories are perfect. The controls are a little hard to master unless your an old pro at it. There are many more features than The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 like, Tekken force, in which you fight hundreds of forces sent from Combot, Kuma, Kazuya, and Heihachi Mishima. It is the best addition to the Tournament series. I reccomend this to anyone that loves fighting games (by the way the graphics are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!).

This game is red hot! You can't really ask for more, great graphics, great controls, sound is tight, ending the game actually pays off with a cool ending movie! This is the best Tekken out there! but probably not the last!!!

I hate this game! They don't have any of the good charactors from tekken 1, 2, and 3! I was really dissapointed. I can't beleive I actually put this on my wish list! Take my advice and DON'T buy this game. It is a waste of money. I mean, the controls are just a pain. Don't even get me started on the moves. Half the good moves take so many buttons that by the time you can hit all the buttons, your opponet has already slugged you. If you want my opinion, buy Tekken 3. I mean, the moves in Tekken 3 are not as tricky as these. Also the graphics in this one are nothing compared to the other 4(including Tekken Tag Tournoument

I really think this is the best of the entire Tekken thing. I like the new story battle mode, and I get to learn more about the characters. I also like that this is truly fighting: brute force...
This game has many new characters, and brought together many of my relatives (my cousins, my uncles, and me) to attempt to be the champion of "finger-fighting."

This game has exellent graphics and such and such, but there's not a whole lot to do though
Pros:
Some of the best graphics i've ever seene
same ol' controlls, great gameplay
Tekken force is back with a diffrent name
beautiful backrounds
Very detailed
There's enough modes to last
Theater mode has improved
Great voice acting
U can beat someone up on the wall, and kill em'
must I say anything about the girls
Storymode is a new feature, well not that new
Cons:
No tag mode
When something breaks, it looks fake
Less selectable characters for tag
Few new cahracters
Not much to unlock
It seems as though nothins new, makin it only look like a beter Takken 3
No new modes like Tekken Ball or bowl
Overcomplicated story
who the hell's the winner
And it's a bit slower than Tekken 3 and Tag
Overall:It's as not as good as Tekken Tag, but it's still a great game. Vurtua Fighter 4 and Tekken 4 are the best fighting games of this year

...kazuya and lee are not new characters, they are tekken veterans who deserve more respect from fools who do not understand the story of tekken.(it did not start whith tekken 3!...).and tekken tag was great but it had no story and featured dead characters purely for enjoyment in fighting.tekken 4 is almost like a better looking tekken 2,but it would have been rubbish whithout kazuya.i feel that you must play the original trilogy first to earn the right to play this great game!!

I've already wrote my review of this game and I said how good it is and I'm sure that true Tekken fans agree with me. Now what I wanna say to some reviewers that keep whining around because this version doesn't have a Tag option is simple: Tekken is NOT a Tag game and never was meant to be. Tekken Tag Tournament was released because Namco wanted to try something different and quench the hunger that fans had for Tekken 4. In other words, a Tag option is definitely not in the plans of Namco staff because they were never a part of Tekken. Ultimately, you whining players stop bugging and asking for a Tag option because Tekken is not that kind of game. Period.

I've been hooked on Tekken since Tekken 3 (I know, not all that long), but this game just wasn't as fun for me as Tekken Tag. It didn't offer enough fun other stuff.
That said, I do like the game quite a bit. The Tekken Force mode is really entertaining.
I think I was most disappointed not to see some of my favorite characters from Tekken Tag make a reappearance--no June, no Kangaroo guy, no doctor, no Anna even!
But it's still Tekken, so it still gets 4 stars!

played this game and the second i took the first kick with Hworang i knew tekken tag was better. Graphics are better but it ...is [no good] how you don't have the tag team option. The movies make much more sense then the ones in tekken tag. They even talk. But its pointless how some of the best characters are gone. If you ask me tekken tag is still better but its worth the money. Personally i like hworang the most. But if you can combo with eddy you've won. I mean its impossible to block. By the way to use eddy by beating the game with christie and pressing o on her. But thats completely pointless how eddy isn't there. The best thing about this game is the graphics and the movies i sort of recomend it but if you have the money buy Vice city or the two towers.
