SWEET!!, December 5, 2002

This game is awsome! There are muscle cars and sports cars to choose from! The music could be better, but still. The races are very intense and the graphics rock! What I don't like about this game is the police. They are so IRRITATING!! When I get busted, I awlays spin out and face the wrond way. Overall, it's a great game!

Me, being a huge Gran Turismo Fan, wanted to try something new. The Story is ok, not too bad. Graphics wise its a better than most. Some things I would like to point out though, the game doesnt focus much on realism in my opinion. So if you just want to have fun this is for you

Great!!!!!, October 27, 2002

This game is great!!! The graphics are great and the cars are the best ever for Test Drive. I have owned and played every Test Drive made and this is the best one to date. If you are looking for a great, exciting, and accelerating racing game this is the one for you. Two player mode is also just as great as being by yourself in story mode. I think they should have made the game a little harder though. I am 15 years old and beat the game in a weekend. Very much fun though. Enjoy!

Good concept, some odd behavior, October 22, 2002

My husband and I rented this game for a while. It was the first racing game we played. The only two-person component of it is drag racing, which is Ok the first 10 times, then it's boring. Also, the car choices are very limited. I found the police action annoying, but my husband loved outrunning them. The cars do not handle very realistically, but it's still fun to get behind of the wheel of a Chevelle. The gameplay is a bit quirky (e.g., when drag racing the Chevelle, no matter what you do, you will crash to the right at the end), but overall it's a great introduction to racing games. Not very complex, no real strategy involved, just racing around crashing into things.

Test Drive is the best, October 19, 2002

That guy that spent an hour trying to beat one level. That is just sorry. I am 13 and I beat the game in a little over a week. It only gets really challenging when you get to almost the very end.

not too shabby, September 30, 2002

i enjoyed the game for the fact that i am a muscle car enthusiast and there were plenty of american muscles to choose from...Pontiac GTO, Shelby Cobra, Chevy Chevelle... the list goes on the game play could be worked on, the cops get rather annoying and the timed racing through checkpoints is rather arcade-ish for me... a high point was the the straight half mile street drag races... quite fun... a game that should be in the collection of all car enthsiasts... also try Stuntman that game is awesome and action packed...

Stupid game., September 1, 2002
Reviewer: A 2-year old gamer
This game is nothing more than an interactive commercial promoting various rap artists and a grade B weak plot movie. In no way did the makers of this game intend on making it worth while. Races are ... Everytime you crash your opponents are never far in front of you, but when you get to the finish line, 1 or 2 of them always jumps ahead. And the pong thing while it's loading is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I'm a persistant guy and played this game for an hour trying to beat one race. After that I stuck the cd in my microwave, fried it, and threw it out the window. Oh yeah, that nice Charger you see on the front cover of the box, unless you spend the next 4 months mastering this game, you'll never get it.

fast and furious, August 15, 2002
Reviewer: Strife from Los Angeles, CA USA
It is really fun to play but It is pretty hard to beat. That makes it more realistic and that is one of the things that I like about it another thing is the selection of cars, I dont know if there are more cars than what you start out with, but the cars where pretty cool. It reminds me of the fast and furiou. The one thing that I dont really like about it is the music I don't really like rap music. Overall this would be a good game to rent or buy it is really fun and is pretty hard to beat.

DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!, August 3, 2002
Reviewer: Jason Kappel from Island Park, New York United States
This game is not all that good. I rented it. The commercial made it look good but it's impossible to beat even if you use the code to unlock all of the tracks and most of the cars!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
